Hi Soma,
Ideally, a graduate can take direct admission in intermediate CA course. But you might face a problem due to the gap years. As far as I know, they will ask for a gap year affidavit or gap year certificate. Both the documents are slightly different from each other. If you were not doing anything during your gap year then you have to provide a gap year affidavit or if you were doing any course of studying somewhere be it in private or government institute then you can provide the gap year certificate. In both documents, you have to give a solid reason to justify your gap year.

Yes, you can do second group of intermediate even though you have done your first part in 1999. There is as such no restrictions on the major gap of any courses conduct by ICAI. You can contact to the institute for your queries, because there are the one how can help you at this best. May be that say you to comply with certain norms but I am pretty sure that you can continue you CA studies now.

ICAI Examination Pattern from may 2019. the question paper pattern of the theoretical papers at Intermediate and Final levels would be 30% objective and 70% descriptive under both Old and New Schemes. The papers in which the new pattern would be followed are as under

<p>One can register for CA Foundation after Class 10 but can pursue the course only after completing Class 12. Until then, ICAI registration will remain provisional, as the minimum eligibility criteria for CA Foundation is Class 12 pass. The advantage of registering for the course after class 10 though is that you can start preparing for it along with your studies. If you choose commerce stream in class 11 and 12, it will be even easier for you to prepare for CA Foundation.</p>

Yes, you can definitely apply for the CA FOUNDATION EXAM. The forms for 2023 admission will start from 3rd February to 24th February. You can appear in the exam even by using your admit card.
