Of-course Yes, L M Thapar School of Management is located in Derabassi, Mohali. It is a world wide well known institute for MBA. It is a very reputed institute among all. So it doesn't make any difference if it is located in an isolated location. Still many big companies visit the campus to recruit the students.

Dear Ritu, the IIM's or IIT's came to be known because of the students who had put in their hard efforts to brighten up their career. Any University or institution develops the course to make the students future ready. However, it totally depends on the students as to how sincerely do they take up the course. As far as IPM is concerned, I personally believe that it is a good course. The only thing is your contribution towards the completion and conclusion of the course. You never know you might become the next trend setter for IPM. So it is advisable to put in your 100% for any of the course you get yourself enrolled into. It is very true ... View more

Usually, a minimum of best of four 97.5%/97.8% is required. That's the minimum. Scoring a 98 or above would be on the safer side.
Maths is required as one of your subjects in +2, and you need to pass in it. However, it's usually not calculated in the best of four.

Scope of Mechatronics also extends to areas of Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Automation and VLSI design. Design Engineer, Product Development Engineer, etc. are the common job profiles in which BE/B.Tech graduates in Mechatronics are employed. Mechatronic engineering is an emerging field, but it has been around in one form or another for some time. Mechatronic engineers have been cleverly disguised as many of the following: Automation Engineer, Control System Engineer, Data Logging Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer, Project Engineer, Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, and Service Engineer.

Currently pursuing MFM from NIFT,

Hi Ashwin, Comparing CBSE and NIOS, both are equally difficult. But, in some cases, depending on the subjects, NIOS might be more difficult. For instance, say, in 12th CBSE, a student has main subjects PCM whereas as in 12th NIOS, the main subjects turn out to be law, mass com and psychology (which is a real case of one of my friend from NIOS). Here, PCM are relatively easier in CBSE because the subjects are interrelated. But, one the other side, if the subjects are different, like in the above case, a student might find it very difficult and burden loaded as main subjects are totally different from one another and new as well.

As an All India Quota (AIQ) student aiming for Maharashtra engineering colleges, you do not need to take MHT CET. You can directly participate in the MHT CET counselling process (CAP rounds) using your JEE Main score. You'll need to register specifically for the MHT CET counselling, which is conducted by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. This registration typically involves filling personal/academic details, uploading documents including your JEE Main scorecard, and paying a counselling fee. You do not need to register for the MHT CET exam itself.

Hello Vidya, Your query is quite interesting. However psychology is a very interesting and tough subject in itself. Merely because you are having a Masters in software engineering will not make you eligible to do both UG and PG simultaneously in any university. You will have to do first UG and after completion of it you will be eligible to pursue your PG in psychology. Perhaps if you can check on the website of IGNOU & if they allow you to do post graduation in psychology based on your graduation in engineering then you can do your PG in psychology directly from IGNOU. Best wishes to you.
