Hi Keyur,It all comes down to your career objectives. In general, yes, it is totally worth it, to step out of your comfort zone, and explore other cultures while studying, to end up seeking better career opportunities. But you must ensure that you're not piling up unnecessary student debt. That's when there's no point. All the best.

Dear Rohit, As I already told to many students that please be specific while putting your question/query here so that we can help in you in a better way with full details. Coming to your query I firstly inform you that B.Com has its only single type no other type because it's a classical degree and stream. Unlike B.A. And B.Sc. Which has different specialisation and subjects, every university and college of India who is running B.Com course has a single type and that is universal. However different specialisation is there in the master's programme of commerce background like finance, accounts etc. Thanks!

You can definitely go for research in the field of finance. There are many good institutes which are primarily working in the research field in Finance. One of the premier institute is Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR). It has tie ups with various organizations, which work in the field of financial inclusion, rural banking innovations, financial engineering, credit policies for small and medium scale enterprises. You can also join NGOs working in rural areas for women empowerment by helping them growing their businesses. There are lot of opportunities in the field of Finance.
