IT engineering is called as information technology. This contains the development of communication between systems, Networking, Troubleshooting, System and network analysis, System configurations, etc. with the help of the knowledge one can gain by studying in that field.

Hi, atleast you need more than 70 marks for getting CSE branch at GNDU but the number of candidates participating in counseling also matters.

Other state students can also join Vssut Burla through JEE Mans rank. You can apply for the admission if your rank is good then you definitely can get admission.

It's very hard to get top 3 branches in Sir MVIT with 16k tank but you can expect mechanical engineering even only after the 2nd counseling is over.
If you want CS or ECE then you can do one thing take any branch in your favourite college and score well in your 1st semester and change your branch (condition availability of seat should be there and you are a merit student above 9 CGPA) or else you can took CS IS or ECE in college such as JSS or some other (refer to COMEDK previous year cut off available on COMEDK website).

Regarding difficulty level of SRMJEE it is much easier than JEE Mains. You need to focus on all the basics concept and you will find this exam very easy.

With such a good score, you should go with any good college. Most of the colleges provide scholarships based on the board percentage. I would suggest you to first think about a good private college instead of scholarship.

Ashish don't go with which stream is better. Go with what you want do after studying B.Tech. You may take following considerations. If you like computer, want to build crazy application or something related to software go with Computer Science engineering. If you like playing with machines/motors or electricity go ahead with Mechanical engineering. Or Electrical engineering. If you are India, after studying Electronics and communication engineering most of the students gets job/work in IT companies. Only few percent gets chance in electronics companies. Due to visa restrictions in EU, Indian IT students who have studied in India may not able to find a job as a fresher unless they are picked up by an EU based IT company during campus placements. All the best.
