Hi Abhishek,
The exam is very easy. There is not going to be a major challenge as the IP University entrance exam is more of general answering and reasoning. As far as mathematics is concerned, only generic mathematics questions would be asked. Questions has logical reasoning Andhra Pradesh/GP series and sets. Related questions and other general questions. Then there would be English comprehensions also. The paper is very easy to clear. You can prepare from any general reference books.

College Selection Expert,

Hello Palak,
Generally, college takes admission on the basis of class 12th marks or JEE marks or conduct their own exam. Ansal University gives admission to those students who have got at least 50% marks in class 12th. Eligible candidates need to appear for the Ansal University Entrance Exam (AUEE) conducted by the Ansal University.
The candidate who has a valid rank in JEE Mains need not to appear in AUEE. After exam, either JEE or AUEE shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview (PI) based on the marks obtained in JEE Mains/ AUEE.

Firstly, IIT-Jodhpur is quite new, I mean just four years old or so while MNIT has an established reputation and is now in its 52nd year. Also, the infrastructure is good. No offence intended towards IIT-Jodhpur but if you take out the tag "IIT" you'll find that it is hollow. Placements are faring much better at MNIT.
Best of luck for coming college life.

I think they won't consider your board exam marks for admissions but there is some minimum eligibility. But you have scored more than what is needed. So, don't worry. Scholarship based on rank in Amrita Entrance Examination-Engineering 2017:
10% of students admitted are eligible for the scholarship in the first year of B.Tech in each of the four campuses based on merit. This will be renewed in subsequent years as per the University rules. It is awarded as a waiver of tuition fee ranging from 90% to 25% depending on the rank in the Amrita Entrance Examination-Engineering AEEE 2017.

Free seat does not solely depend on you rank but on various factors. If you need complete fee waiver then you need to get into 10000 below rank category and you must be a owner of ration card.
If you get above 10000 rank and if you have ration card, you can get fee waiver of 35000 max. Suppose if you got 11000 rank and joined in a college and it's fee was 40k then you can get 35k money from government. And extra 5k you have to pay. If your fee is suppose 25k you only get 25k fee waiver not 35000. If you don't hold any ration card you won't get any fee waiver any rank you may get it won't help.

Since from this year (2017) onwards, HBTI (HBTU to be more specific) has withdrawn from UPSEE Counselling procedure and will take students through JEE Mains counselling so IET will now be the first preference of UPSEE candidates.
In 2016 surely you would have grabbed a seat in IET but not this year because now the cutoff rank will be much higher and close to the cut off rank of HBTI last year (2016).
It's quite difficult to get a core branch but you'll definitely grab a seat if you go for non-core branches in IET.
You can try for KNIT, Sultanpur or JSS, Noida if you priority is branch rather than college.

HR, startup entrepreneurs, caree...,

First of all, the job got by an ITI student and a Diploma student is same. There is hardly any market for this and your salary can be as good as Rs. 10000 to 15000 per month. When you do mechanical engineer, you may get job as assistant, technical assistance, technician, and operator in manufacturing set up however you will not get growth in the career unless you have an engineering degree. If you do computer science Diploma, you may start own business of computer service and repair or may get job in similar field, again no growth in the career without a degree so choose only if you are planning for a degree else better go for ITI.
