The only authentic information that could be found out is that the average package for year 2017 was of 6.9 Lacs. First of choosing IT department is a great decision Ria. Yes, you'll get admission easily in 1st or second round. I'll suggest you to fill some good colleges above RGIT in preference form like VIT, DJSCOE . They are good colleges than RGIT.

You can get admission in some college, but you have to compromise with their placements and their learning process.
But their are numerous source through which you can seek knowledge in cs. Sources like Edx, udemy or many more, you can learn through many books. Knowledge cant be just obtained by colleges it can be obtained through any source. College will just give you degree not education
