Jadavpur University takes admission only through WBJEE so the competetion is really high. Last year the closing rank ( for general/ open category) for Computer science and engineering/ computer science and technology was 133 ( after third round of counselling) and in 2017 it was 84. so you need to score around 175- 185 marks to secure your seat

Hi,
To get admission at PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore you need to apply for single window counselling under Anna University. It also depends on your caste wise cut off marks. The overall percentage in 12th is not considered. Only the aggregate of maths, physics and chemistry (out of 200) will be considered.
If you have the required scores then you can get admission.
Mention your caste and the cut off marks. if you are from other state then mention it. First tell me whether you have applied for counselling or not.

There are two ways of doing graduation in engineering after completion of Diploma. One is via lateral admission. In this method, you need to apply online in your state's admission portal and depending on your marks you get college. But admission is restricted to similar subjects. Invariably matrix is given on the portal. The other method is via entrance exam in 1st year of Engineering wherein Diploma is considered as equivalent to class 12th. Best wishes.

Hi Hartej,
I don't think the highest packages or massive placements define a University. Shiv Nadar University (SNU) is one of it’s kind. It is a place to learn as well as a place to grow. As far as placements are concerned, there is a very active Career Development Center (CDC). The CDC takes care of all the placements, be it industrial or academic. It also provides students with exciting internship opportunities. Universities, every time is not just about placements, but the sort of education it offers. And as far as SNU is concerned, different companies that have come for placements offer different packages. Till now the highest ... View more
