Hai Khalid,
It is not good or bad. It is about your interest and your goal. Everything you do with interest will work on some or the other day. As you were a BE student of CSE, you can become a software engineer after your BE or you can do your MS or you can do your MBA, or your M.Tech. MS and MBA will be better, if you are interested. All the best.

KCC is a good college to be considered for B.Tech. You can expect enriching industrial exposure and guest lectures. The placement cell provides multiple chances to the student, but they are not so great. Sports facility is amazing. IEC is the worst college. No practical exposure. Labs are just for namesake. Management really ***, only that thing I learned here is how to pass the exam in one night. B.Tech here is an illusion that will break at the time of placement. I am giving you pros and cons if you want to consider GNIOT as an option. Pros:
Good infrastructure and peaceful, serene environment (especially, there is no traffic around ... View more

Hello Hartej,
IIIT Sonepat started its innings in 2014 in the same campus as that of NIT Kurukshetra. As a result we can see that the first batch had just finished and I have been placed. As can be expected, the placement cell of NIT Kurukshetra did the job of placement for IIIT Sonepat also. Even though detailed and authentic information is not available it is understood that due to the pedigree of Kurukshetra and its vibrant placement cell, majority of the students have been placed well. It is hoped that when IIIT Sonepat stars functioning separately it will have the same energy and vibrancy in its placements cell.

Seats fall vacant for subsequent rounds of counselling, only when students are willing to give up seats obtained in previous rounds. I really doubt, if anyone with CS will like to give up. Hence, I am afraid your chances are minimal.

DY Patil College of Engineering at Akurdi near Pune admits students based on scoring in CET called MHT CET conducted by DTE, Maharashtra. Hence any percentile in JEE Mains is irrelevant. However, a very small percentage of seats are reserved under "All India Quota" but the requirement of percentile will be abnormally high.

If financial issues are there, then instead of paying the huge fees go for Rizvi Atharva college which are comparatively affordable in terms of yearly fee structure. (Thakurs fees is more than any other college, but facilities and placement cell takes encouraging efforts for the aspirants).
My opinion for the aspirants with financial problems -
