I think you should join computer class for basic concepts. If you know basic, then you can do better. If you don’t, then you should learn it. It is quite difficult to learn. It takes minimum 6-8 months to learn proper basics of computer.

I will recommend you to pursue master degree from USA because it is one of the best country for doing Masters in computer if you want to pursue master degree from India then the premier institutes like IIT and IISC are the best ones but taking admission in those college is quite difficult as compared to taking admission in the one of the best university of the world if we talk about the university of the USA so make sure that you prepared yourself very well and make your SOP and each and everything how is. Wish you the luck for the same.

Well, it varies every year. Since last 4 years, the placement is constantly down. TCS was the major recruiter this year. 69 B.Tech students got placed. And, around 30to 40 students got placed in Tech Mahindra (off campus). Bhushan 30, Vednat 15 (approximately), Praxiar 2 (offcampus), JK Papers (10 to 15 at maximum). Placement is really worse in IGIT. Out of 400 students in our batch more than 250 are unplaced. It is not how a government college should have placement.

MSIT is not much famous than BVP and MAIT, so you will lag behind the guys of MAIT or BVP with same level of competency. BVP and MAIT have a fair amount of coders, meet them, learn from them. Don't see cons of any thing. Think them as opportunity to turn them into pros and everything in the world will conspire to make you achieve what you dream. If you will see the cons, then even IIT will have some, leave usit and mait. For a aspiring coder the preference should look like this :
1. MAIT - CSE
2. MAIT - IT
3. BVP - CSE
4. BVP - IT. I don't think msit as a better option, still if you smell any opportunity, do join it. May be... View more

Hello Bhargav,
You seem to have scored quite well in exams. However, admissions to any engineering college are normally via some or the other entrance exam. For getting govt college / lower fees, etc. you must score handsomely in the entrance exam.

If you are asking for lateral entry (entering directly to second year after completing polytechnic course of 3 years), then he can. They will conduct a training program for a month during April-May and then admit by conducting counseling for the lot who attended the training. If you are asking, if he can join second year engineering after completing first year in another college, then the answer is no. He has to start all over from the first year.
