Hello D Nagaraju, even though quite new, this university located in greater Noida has earned quite a reputation. As a result the cutoffs or closing ranks are quite high particularly for branch of CSE. With very good placements and facility of internships during the course, admissions here are getting tougher and tougher. Percentile above 90 is the minimum. It is hard to say on the basis of marks because it all matters on the basis of ranks.
To be honest, its difficult to get CSE with these marks in the merit category (A). You can get admissions from other categories (B,C) which have more tuition fees (highly exorbitant rates).
CSE branch gets over in merit by 3000 - 5000 rank max. You should apply for online counselling.
Hi Vivek kataria, the rank is too low to get a seat in VIT Vellore. You may get a seat only under category 3,4,or 5. Yes obviously the fees will be very high as he needs hostel also. If he gets some other government aided good college or better than VIT he may join.
The fee will be atleast Rs 4-5 lakhs per annum if he can pay that money then he can go.
