Computer Engineer,

You should decide for yourself. If you are confident that you can crack the JEE for CSE then you should drop a year, otherwise, don't waste your time. You can also lose what you have now. So, as per my opinion, don't drop and start studying now in IIIT. Placements totally depend on you. If you have good skills and knowledge then you will get placed easily either you are in IIT, NIT, IIIT or any other private college.
So, all the best.
Good luck.

Hi,
Yes, you can take admission in B.Tech by appearing in LEET exam of the respective university.
There are many colleges which offer lateral entry to Diploma students to complete their engineering. After Diploma, B.Tech is of 3-years.
And it has many benefits as compared to 12+ B.Tech.
I hope I've made myself clear.

It's very difficult for freshers to get into cyber security field as this domain always needs experience but doing some certification can help you make your career in this domain.
Don't do a certification because they are advertising it well.
If you are in India, you can Join CDAC PG-DITISS.
You can also do some reputed certifications related to Ec-Council
Offensive Security
CCNA Security
There are a lot of reputed names.
(Doing only certifications will not give you a job, you must have command on each and everything in topics related to hacking, simply practice-practice-practice).

If you are getting CSE at IIIT, Hyderabad, then only go for it. Because, CSE of IIIT Hyderabad is compared with top NITs. Rest is up to you, to do any other course at NIT.

Sorry to say but you haven’t cleared JEE Mains required cutoff. So there is no way to get any college on the basis of JEE Mains score. You may get admission in any private college on the basis of 12th score.

If you score 150+ in JEE Mains or Advanced then you get a good college for engineering for CS branch. If you want to enrol in a top NIT or IIT then you have to score near about 200 marks.
Thank you and all the best.

Hello Vinod Bhagtani,
you can apply with your jee percentile CSE branch JEE main cutoff 92% the process is so easy and you can also apply with reap(Rajasthan engineering admission process).
You can take direct admission in college but in other cases, the admission process is through REAP, which basically gives college on the basis of JEE mains cutoff. You can find the application form on the college website.

Hello Sanket Bhondve, university of Pune dies not conduct any engineering course itself. It however gives affiliation to colleges conducting engineering courses. It also sets syllabus. You need to be little more specific in naming college in which you want to take admission. In any case, I would like to advise you to have a look at the website of your intended college. I am sure that you will find required information there
Best wishes to you.
