In order to get admission in the CSIT programme, a student should fill up the Entrance Application Form from any of the Affiliated or Constituent Colleges offering CSIT course and should pass the Entrance Examination conducted by Institute of Science and Technology (IOST), TU and then can get the admission. This could be because of the fact that this polytechnic is government owned and government may not like to prescribe any such restrictions.
