Both are totally different disciplines.
However, the engineering approach is same.
ECE is about electronics and how the different electrical components (Microprocessor, RAM, etc.) communicate with each other. It has more physics in it. There is a little programming involved but not much.
CSE deals with telling these components what to do and when to do it; by programming them. It has a lot of logic involved and maths too.

BCA computer based course need computer background, which you have BCA four semester have corporate account, commerce knowledge. If you select B.Com you have commerce knowledge, and computer is always needed. You can go add on course, such as Six Sigma, Advance excel ,SAP, FICO is excellent course.

The admission into NITs is based on your ranks in JEE main examination. As you belong To SC category, your category rank should be below 500, so that you can get a seat at the top NITs in CSE.
You have to score 150+, so that you can easily get a seat at the top NITs.

Hello Shreyas, one can never predict as to at what marks one can get admission in engineering colleges. In any case, admissions in engineering colleges these days are not based on marks of 12th but ranking of entrance exam. 12th marks are used only for screening out.
