As a rule of thumb one needs to score more than a percentile of 99.5 to get a seat in computer sciences engineering even in Sastra deemed to be university. Best wishes to you.

Hello Murali:
The official cut-off marks for each course at Anna University is not yet declared but your cut-off and admission is based on your caste. Which category do you belong to so that I may be able to tell you whether you can get it or not.
The cut-off for OC is generally 199, for SC/ST, it will be 150-160 only, for BC, it may be around 190-195 and for MBC, it can be 170-180. But these are not accurate.
All the best.
It depends on the admission trend. Since only 20% of the seats are filled in Stream 2, it is very difficult to predict. But 98% marks is a very good score and you have a very good chance to get admitted in SASTRA University.
Hello Alisha,
Admission in GNDU is based on JEE Mains. Even though you have scored more than required score in class 12th but your marks in JEE Mains are too low. I feel you may not get admission in GNDU with this score.
You must contact to BIT, Thapar university, PEC university like college with such rank you surely get selected here at the time of counselling.
All the best.
