You have to score at least 140+ marks to get admission in YMCA CSE branch. If you consider Thapar university then it is a good decision because it has much greater opportunities than Bennett university and at Thapar University, you get much better exposure. As Thapar university took admissions through JEE Mains. The Placements have been good. Well, first of all you must define what is a good branch according to you.
In my opinion, you will definitely get a branch in CET but this rank be enough to get a seat in CSE for sure is nearly about 43400 (unless you belong to the reserved category).
You can opt for other branches with this rank. If you really wanna go for CSE then you can just take up any branch in CET and then change it to CSE(43400) so this is the latest cutoff in your second year by obtaining a good GPA.
