You can definitely get admission in south Indian colleges in CSE, but outside the purview of Mains mark.
Hello Pawan Sharma, packages or CTC depends to a large extent on the demand supply mismatch. One gets higher CTC if mismatch is higher and vice versa. But in these times in India, there is huge unmet demand for trained professionals and you will get good package may be around 10L. However it also depends on which companies your college is able to attract during placements season.

As per question, there is no chance for you to get CSE/it/ ECE in categories 2or 3. Because VIT Vellore campus as tough competition for CSE branch below 3000 rank can get it and the 5000 or above rank can get Chennai campus in category 1. you can try other branches like civil EEE you may get it in category 2 or 3.
The closing rank for CSE in COMEDK college was 56816 last year. So you have very low chances of getting there. Other than that, according to last year cutoods you will also get CSE at MS engineering college, at days and Sagar university and many other colleges. These is according to 2022 cutoffs. coz closing rank for mait is about 1500-2000
but if u wait till last round of counseling u may get it.

Hi Ashutosh, admission criteria varies with countries so it is suggested you decide where to study. For admissions in US you must take SAT. Though SAT is not mandatory in other countries I will still advice you to take SAT. You must also take TOEFL or IELTS for English language proficiency. Admissions will depend on your grades also. if you have control over yourself to stay focused in the drop year for JEE Mains preparation, then go for it. otherwise, take admission.

It's actually not the question if which is better or worse. It's what is possible and what is not. If taking up job to support family ,etc is a must, then don't look for B.Tech. If can afford to study for three more years then only go for B.Tech else job along with AMIE.

If you want to pursue MS in CS then obviously you need to have degree in similar field in India or from somewhere. So appear for JEE Mains and obtain enough marks for admission to this course. After completing you can go abroad.
