Hello Divish !
SIT doesn't release specific cutoff for any branch. Candidates need to be physically present for the counselling. Then they are called upon according to their JEE Mains score. So, it basically depends upon the marks obtained by the students present for counselling. According to last year admission stats, one can get a computer science seat with a score of around 100-120.

Yes you can do this, it is possible and valid. If you want to terminate your B.Tech. Course. If you are just discontinuing B.Tech itself without a request of leaving Certificate the college has got no right to ask you to pay the requisite amount. You can file a case over the college administration if they are acting against their norms. Hope you get what you want!
best of luck.

Scoring below 50% in class 12th may make it difficult for a student to secure admission in a top engineering college for a B.Tech in Computer Science. However, there are still many engineering colleges in India that may consider students with lower scores for admission. The admission criteria for each college may vary, but some colleges may consider a student's performance in entrance exams like JEE Main JEE Advanced or state-level engineering entrance exams. It is important to note that admission to engineering colleges is highly competitive, and there are limited seats available. Therefore, students with better scores in class 12th and e... View more
