College Selection Expert,

Hello Abhi,
You have to score rank less than 10000 if you want to get admission in SRM, Chennai.
But, by this rank, you are not getting rank rank less than 10000 so you should try in any other branch.

Yes because I have a friend who is attending Mcgill from 2015 to 2019 and studying computer Science there. SEE if his profile is of any help to you. He scored 90+ in his class 12 board exams. His 11th scores were less (about 78%) but that's okay coz they are more interested in you final marks. His SAT was 2200, SAT Subject tests were 800/800 in Physics and Maths and he had a good extra curricular profile- he did MUN's, was part of rotaract club. He got an aid of 20k canadian dollars in his first year and the aid is more generous in the following years. The tuition fees in mcgill are around 36k. Good luck.

If you are from general category Rank 3-100 and rest is higher only and also You need to get around 900 Gate score to get offer from IIT Delhi through COAP 2020.
If there is any vacant seat till spot round (the chances of which is negligible) then the Score can drop down to around 800.
Hope it helps. Do upvote if it does.

If you have general or OBC category, then CSE in NIT is not possible.
If you fall under SC and ST category, then you can get CS, but in low college.
For CSE in VIT, you can go, but the fees of VIT is INR 4 lacs to 6 lacs per year + INR 1 lac hostel per year.
For CSE in SRM, your son can get scholarship, but fees of SRM is INR 3 lac per year + INR 1 lac hostel fees.

Hi,
Prospects will vary with program to program. Diploma can be either undergraduate or post graduate diploma and both will fetch different prospects. Generally for long term prospects you would require a Masters. If you are looking for a professional course you can think about a diploma and keep earning certifications and other diplomas in future to add value.
