To get admission in computer science engineering you can write both the exams. The one which is more neccesary is JEE. By doing this, you will have opportunities of taking admission in IIT & NITs all over India & you can take admission through JEE.

There are number of companies coming for computer engineering students in LDRP. This company varies from local companies of Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad to MNCs like GATE L&T, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and so on.

B.Tech CSE is the best, Because Avionic has the less scope over CSE.

I can only answer for Faculty and the procedure of Technology and Engineering. Yes the branch for engineering can be changed under 2 conditions:
Reshuffling happens and you get promoted to a higher branch
You top the entire college ( including all branches) and rank in the top 5.

Cut off marks for admission to a diploma varies from one state to another state and also for different category of persons based on caste. In general, with special reference to Tamil nadu State ,I can give the MAX-MIN% cut off for different category.However, this may vary slightly upwards/downwards.
OC and forward caste persons is varies from 100 to 80% of total marks in SSLC/SSC(10th class)
BC is varies from 79 to 60% of total marks.in SSLC/SSC(10th class)
MBC is varies from 59 to 40% of total marks.in SSLC/SSC(10th class)

Yes, because Diploma Holders in engineering with a minimum of 50% marks in the final examination, conducted by the Board of Technical Examination, Government of Karnataka or its equivalent, are eligible for admission to the corresponding branch of Second Year engineering.

<p>You should accept the Electrical branch in NIT Silchar rather than CSE in IIITS as NIT Silchar is way older and has more reputation than IIITs. You should study hard in the 1st year in NIT Silchar as 1st year is common in every department and if you will be able to score more than 9 CGPA then you can apply for branch transfer in CSE. NIT Silchar has a facility of branch transfer in 2nd year so you can go for CSE in 2nd year.</p>

I'm from YCCE. It's best among private colleges in central Maharashtra. The placement is increasing year by year. In academic year 2015-16, total 552 students have been placed to this date. Branches like mechanical, etc. , ctech gives almost 90% placement. Faculty here is also good.

No chance at all. You need to score at least above 140 marks in MU-OET to get CSE at MIT.

Germany has good universities for MS in CS and also there are good opportunities for Computer graduates in Germany. Cost of education is not very high in Germany. If you are a B.Tech CSE you will able to work 4 hours a week to subsidize your living expenses in Germany.

Majority of engineering jobs in government are for civil, electrical, mechanical and ECE engineers. There is no direct cadre for CSE engineers in central and state governments. You can join a government organization such as DRDO, CDAC, NIC, defence services, paramilitary forces, ISRO, civil services, PSUs etc. with a CSE degree.

Vivek, it is difficlit to say about it. I suggest you make a good try in other colleges as well.

The TTC with its 3 institutions viz, TU, TP and TCIRD, a centre of relevance and excellence (CORE) has been set up at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology University by TIFAC Mission REACH of Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India in its first phase of setting up eight cores at various institutes and universities spread all over the country. So, all in all it is a good college when it comes to B.Tech, especially CSE. The weightage of PCM is 60% and JEE Mains covers the rest 20%.

It is a bit tough to get admission, but through counselor, it is possible.

If you have scored just about 50% marks in JEE Mains, your chances of getting admission in any of the NITs or CFTIs is very slim. It however also depends on how other students have scored. You should start looking for your home state colleges.
