In order to pursue B.Tech CS you need to have maths as a compulsory subject along with physics and chemistry. There is no harm if you have biology but this is very harmful if you don’t have maths. However, you can do B.Tech in biotechnology or some related course but not CS.
Hello Abhishek,
VIT's NIRF ranking is 11 and SRM's NIRF ranking is 35.
If you are interested in computer science, then you should apply for this stream, otherwise, don't. Because interest is the only thing which makes you perfect. And also, perfections come with interest.

It is placed at 74.31. If your percentile is this or better then only you will be able to register for seeking admission. Best wishes to you.
Sorry to say, it is very tough.
Hi Sachin,
As per your score in JEE Mains exam, you can't get admission in computer science engineering in any NIT. Hi. Placement is good.
7th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Infosys, Cisco, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Mahendra, HTC. They conduct placement and interviews to offer. All the students got cleared and got a CGPA of about 8.00 to get placement.
It will not affect that much as generally, it depends upon interviewers, how you score in the interview and your marks.
