<p>With a rank of 7308 in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, gaining admission to the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) branch at any of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) can be quite competitive. While your rank falls within a potentially acceptable range, chances of admission depend heavily on the specific NIT you are targeting, as well as its cutoff trends for the EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) category. Some might need a background in Mathematics at the higher secondary level. Check the individual requirements of the college before getting admission. Hi,
I have answered your question of AU.
I don't think you will get CSE in AU
So, try for SRM University.
SRM University has a campus in 7-8 states.
So, you have a bright chance to get CSE in SRM University.

College Selection Expert,

Hello Sweety,
All these are good branches but I would suggest you to go through CSE.
After completing ME/M.Tech program, one may also take up a teaching job. Also, after taking up Ph.D program, one may also build a career in the research and development sector. The good thing about BE/B.Tech in computer science and engineering program is that it also allows one to remain self-employed. Average starting salary is generally between 3-5 Lakh Rupees an year. One may start ones own programming and software development venture and remain self employed!

Hello Arman,
If you pursue B.Tech (4 years) and M.Tech (2 years) separately, you will need 6 years. On the other hand, with the integrated course, you need 5 years for the same. Considering current conditions, pursuing Masters is too important now.
Integrated courses are of 2 types: B.Tech + M.Tech (for purely technical stream) or B.Tech + MBA (If you want to have knowledge of both technical and business administration). The choice depends on you. However, not all colleges provide integrated courses. So, with limited seats, it's a tough game to get through.
I hope, I have been able to answer your queries to your satisfaction. I... View more
