With this rank, you can't get CSE in top NITs but in lower NIT, you can easily get CSE. In NIT Durgapur, you can get electrical branch.
This report is according to the previous years cutoff but as this year cutoff has been very less so there r chances that you can get your desirable NIT.
So, I hope for the best and wait for the counselling.

Thank You!
Not sure about branch, better infrastructure, better exposure, college life, good placements, want to do MBA/MS later is equivalent to DTU
Passion for coding, okay college life, want to do job and sure shot guarantee to get package above 10 to 15 LPA ( why I am saying so because if you are getting DTU, I am assuming you are good in studies and will work and do well in interviews) is equivalent to IGDTUW.
There is no specific cut-off for B.Tech admissions but you have to qualify the entrance exam i.e. Guru Buddha University.
There are 100 questions in exam from physics, chemistry and Maths .
No negative markings.
If your AIR is under 200 in general category then you will get CSE, ECE and IT.
I had scored 296/300 in PCM and 162/180 in CET. My rank was 224, I was the last but one (penultimate) person to get the seat in general category (I guess the last rank to get in was around 245). This was during the year 2017 so I guess you need to get above 165/180 and 290+ to guarantee a seat.
I got my seat in second extended round. There is one more round but it is very risky to get seat at that time, you should have already joined a college by then.
Also note that in cases of tie math subject has more weightage than the others, however it's not very important.
Yes there is an entrance exam in svu other than eamcet. From 2021 they have started the entrance test separately for svu called Dual Degree programme (B.Tech+M.Tech) 6 year course which has an option to leave after 4 years with B.Tech. This dual degree programme is exempted to chemical branch. There will be official notification in may to write the exam.

IITs have the toughest eligibility criteria for admission in B.Tech.
The eligibility criteria is as follows: " The candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards". You need to learn stuff outside your college course and at the same time maintain a decent CGPA. Decent CGPA is important so that you atleast qualify to sit for placements in the companies coming to your campus and you will have to acquire skills which you do by doing tutorials or MOOCs online. If you take care of these things, then you will easily get it.
All the best.
