To be honest. It hardly matters. Both the colleges are relatively better among the list of private institutions in Odisha. At the end of your 4 year course, all boils down to campus placements, companies like Infosys, wipro, Capgemini, CTS would visit your campus and would offer comparatively same remuneration for the post of ASE. However, C. V. RAMAN has got autonomous status which attracts a more number of companies for recruitment, so go for CV RAMAN COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING if you have to choose between the two. Nonetheless, the teaching style would more or less be the same in both colleges.

Cutoff basically depends on the number of persons appearing for a given exam and the number of students who have filled the corresponding institute or college form. So it all depends on the number of students filing the form. Cutoff vary from year to year and at some times you may see that it may go higher while at some times it may decline and lower rank may take admission in the college.

Dear Mohit, you can consider Queen Mary, Cranfield and
Glasgow Caledonian University in UK. In Germany RWTH Aachen University is the best option you can consider. There is another degree offered jointly De Montfort University,Leicester in collaboration with the Faculty of Mathematics
and Engineering at the Fachhochschule Bielefeld (University of Applied Sciences) in Germany. Check all the website for complete information. This programme is an advanced modular programmefor graduates of mechanical and electrical engineering, includes a research project and financial aid too.

Hi Pranchal,
You will be called for the counselling as the rank between 1-100000 are called but chances for your admission is low as they have mentioned in the website that those who are called for counselling should not think that they are eligible for admission.
You cannot get the main campus easily and with this rank, you can only go for category 3, 4, or 5 which means you have to pay a lot of money as the fees which will be around 350000 lakh per annum.
You can get the branches like Bhopal, amaravathi only in Chennai campus, you may get but only with a higher fee.
Go for counselling and try your luck.
All the best.

Hello Aman,
To answer your question, here is the previous year’s cutoff of CS branch for the Pilani campus.
2016: 384
2015: 378
2014: 375
2013: 354
As you can see the cutoffs have always increased and that too without any pattern. So, probably the minimum BITSAT marks required for 2017 should be between 384- 390. I hope this solves your question.
