Same fee. Both of the colleges have unusually high fee. Poor academics: Thapar University provides you with almost 0 practical education. When I joined my company, I had 2 projects. (Thapar University asks you to do a summer project, the other one was my own). On the other hand, Manipal University students had 10-12 projects each. Trust me, this is a huge advantage. CUSAT cut-offs are mainly depends on different factors which is set by University and main factor is number of student applied for a particular branch last year closing marks for computer Science department was 2388, and this it is expecting the same cut offs with 2-3 marks different.

CSE stands for computer Science engineering and ECE stands for electronics and communication engineering. In CSE you will learn computer programming languages, while in ECE you will learn about various electrical circuits. People prefer CSE due to good placement.

Hello Rajan, I would suggest you to get at least 93 percentile to being in safe side. There is less chance to get top notch branches in 93 percentile like mechanical or CSE but you definitely get admission in BIT Sindri with 93 percentile. Hope this helps.

Hi. Yes, a bio student can definitely pursue B.Tech in CSE branch, there is no restriction to it. You can pursue B.Tech in computer Science after 12th, if you have Maths in Class 12th. All BIPC/Biology students are eligible to get admission in Engineering courses such as Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, ECE, EEE etc.

Physics and Mathematics are mandatory subjects. So BIPC students can not join B.Tech CSE.
