Hello Vineet, in Maharashtra, admissions to engineering colleges are based on MHT CET exam conducted by government of Maharashtra. Irrespective of any branch, a student has to appear and clear this exam. Then it's on merit that one gets admission. Best wishes to you.

Hello ABC, there is no general cutoff announced by this university. However they announce minimum ranking seperately fir each batch. Hence you will need to wait for next year's cycle of admission to begin to know.

It is not a new thing, there was no such restriction earlier too. For appearing B.TECH entrances PCM is mandatory. You can have any subject for elective though Biology is mandatory for Bioengineering and Bio-tech. For CSE, there was or there will be no such restrictions. A score of my batch-mates are from Bio, still they have successfully landed offers with CSE.

Cutoff basically depends on the number of persons appearing for a given exam and the number of students who have filled the corresponding institute or college form. More is the number of students who have filled the admission form the cut off will definitely increase. But if the number of students filling the form is less than the cutoff will decline .
So it all depends on the number of students filing the form. Cutoff vary from year to year and at some times you may see that it may go higher while at some times it may decline and lower rank may take admission in the college.

Hello dear, though there's a significant variation in the cutoffs with subsequent years, a score of about 135+ would make you stand in a comfortable position for the CSE programme in MIT, Manipal (main campus). Firstly, the cutoff marks changes year to year. 150 is a absolutely safe to get into CSE programme in B.Tech (main campus).

What do you mean by Purchase? Purchasing a degree is not a legal way, I would recommend if you are doing Computer science engineering and want to do Law degree course also then go on legal way else you can't be successful with your fake degree.

Admissions are through TNEA counseling based on marks obtained in 10+2.
For international students admission is based on the marks obtained in 10+2.
