Educational Counselor,

There are numerous options after B. Com
Two most popular options are - MBA (or some other post-graduate degree like M. Com) and Job.
If your family's financial condition is stable, you can go for MBA. To get into a good MBA college you will need to work very hard.
Second option is starting a job. Post your resume on online portals like Naukri, Monster etc and start looking for a job.

Hi Gurdeep,
If you have a knack for numbers or quants then perhaps you should enroll into undergraduate programs in accounts, finance, banking and economics. What is the best course for you is upto you to decide. Know your strengths. You may have other interests so analyze your skills. Journalism, business management courses can also be taken up.

Retired Head of Sixth Forms, UK,

Dear Sowmya,
To apply to universities in UK you must use the UCAS website. You will find all the relevant information here. Take the IELTS and try to score 6.5 or above. IELTS is a requirement and cannot be waived. No other exams are generally required. On the whole you must have good academic grades particularly in mathematics. Here is the UCAS page https://www.ucas.com/

Dear Shivam, You have to be academically sound in your high school ie. 9th to 12th for the same & apply for Bachelors in the major you want to pursue from Canada an year prior to the intake you wish to apply.
It needs an online application, LOR & essays in some universities along with an IELTS/TOEFL scores. If you may have SAT scores, that also helps.

Hey there! B.Com as a degree has never lost momentum as the opportunities are quite a lot anf steady. If you wish to study in India, I would recommend studying an M.Com. Completion of this will enable you to pursue MPhil then get into teaching within India. Recently NET/SLET have been waived by the MHRD.
