Hello Riya,
Lateral entry is for Diploma students not for engineering students, changing colleges affiliated from different university is not as easy as it seems, however you may talk to colleges if they don't have any problems you can switch, but the chances are very low.
All the best.
Yes, you can opt for it because in MBA everything starts from the basics. As most of the people are from engineering background they too don't have any idea about it. Even I am an engineer when I joined and had the same doubt, but here everything started from basics and I might not facing any problems.
There are less chance to get top NITs for CSE branch with 180 marks if you are from general category. If you are from SC, ST category then it may be possible to get a good NIT. In general category, you should get 220 and above marks in JEE Mains. Good luck!
JB, SRM Guntur (Andhra Pradesh) is a new campus of SRM University and first batch will pass out in year 2021. While SRM Chennai campus is an old campus and established in 1985, and have very good record of placement. So, you should go with SRM Chennai campus.
Hi shikha.
Yes you can go for MBA, if you are already a graduate, alongside your CS course.
All the best!!
You should do B.Com (Hons.) +CS because that will give more profit to a commerce student.
Follow your heart, which will only take you to the right destination. Do not do something to please someone. I am saying this, because I don't understand why did you get into B.Tech? If you want to be an actor? Anyways, once you become successful, people will value you truly automatically, so don't bother, hard work and perseverance will surely pay. You can do a Diploma in acting from Mumbai, it is a dreamland for the people to pursue acting, and I suggest this institute. <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.itaspa.in/acting.html" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>http://www.itaspa.in/acting.ht... Dear Karan,
Please keep your career in mind. NIIT is offering that course as a commercial base. Therefore, focus only on the best business schools in the country for your management programme. Don't experiment.
All the best.
Your target is perfect itself. You can also target for FMS as it will be better than SP Jain as per your qualification according to me. Your experience will help you to get there and also you will get a good exposure.
In Mumbai, other option will be JBIMS for sure.
I have seen the fields that you are interested in, which can only be fulfilled by B.Tech course followed by some extra training courses that many institute offers or you can go training institute also. Your area of interest is very good and appreciative. I suggest you to go for B.Tech, then go for M.Tech for specialization. If I am not wrong, then you are already enrolled in some course, because the question you posted 2 years ago.
If you are a graduate then you can pursue MBA.
All the best.
Without management quota, your rank should be below 8000 and for IT to be 11000 to be precise for a confirmed seat in category 1 there. This year in Phase 1 counselling Day 1, ranks from 1-8000 were called and to my surprise, all the seats of CSE branch were filled. In category 1 the CSE branch fees are 198000 INR with 10000 Rs admission fees and 3000Rs. The refundable money included then in second to the fourth year, the fee structure 185000 INR. Don't worry. If you don't get a seat in category 1 then you have to manage to get a rank between 20000-30000, then also your seat is confirmed in CSE branch but that would be under category 2 to ... View more
The admission in IIIT Sonepat for B.Tech programs are based on JEE Main ranks and through JoSAA counselling. Because the IIIT Sonepat and NIT Kurukshetra courses are runs together at NIT campus, so the placement offers are common for both. If we go through NIT Kurukshetra statistic (2017-18), the 100% placement have been provided to eligible students with an average salary package of Rs 11.79. According to my suggestion the priority whatever has to be chosen related to your idea and enhancing capability skills if you want to become an expert in finance or accounting we can go for many options like:
Masters in accounting and taxation
Chartered accountant
Masters in auditing tax consultant
These many options are available because nowadays demand is more in finance based on auditing and taxation levels, you can do online courses too depending on accounting.
Hello,
(Completely based on my personal opinion), I doubt if it would really add to one's salary package, unless the MBA is done from any of the IIMs or other top institutes after CS.
MBA and CS both are very different.
Truth is a generic MBA degree might add to your CV after CS but it won't add to your knowledge.
CS is based on law.
Whereas MBA gives d basics of business.
If you want to really improve your salary package, then you may go for Law.
It will be a better option than MBA.
Good Luck!
Yes most of the colleges do nor have criteria for Mathematics compulsion. You may apply. Thanks. Good luck.
