If you have the right skills and passion, background will not be a problem. If you are interested in programming, then MBA is not the right place for you. MBA will teach you to manage IT projects or to be a B.A. It will not teach you to code. You learn programming languages if your goal is to become software developer. You are already a B.Com so I guess instead of switching to programming now, you can do MBA and manage projects, All the best!

Yes, you can do MCA after M.Com but MCA and M.Com both are equivalent courses. Minimum eligibility for MCA is graduation in any subject.

I am sharing with you the process, have a look.
Eligibility Criteria:
The basic eligibility criteria is that the graduate must have completed 10+2 Science stream schooling with Physics and Mathematics as the main subjects. The minimum aggregate marks in 12th board examination should be 50%. The minimum marks criteria may differ from one institute to another.

If you have already decided that ultimately you want to be a chef then why to waste your 3 years doing B.Com. I would suggest you to go ahead directly to pursue hotel management course. According to me you should opt for a course Bachelors of hotel management and catering technology (BHMCT).
