According to best of my knowledge, I would like to suggest you that Both BBA and B.Com have their own merits. It depends entirely on your interest before choosing either of the courses. If making a career in management is your priority then you should go for BBA as it is the foundation of management and has been specifically designed for MBA aspirants. B.Com on the other hand, is much more diversified and has a wider scope for specialisation for post-graduate study. Thus, it is advisable to first chalk out your skills, aptitude and area of interest before taking up any of the courses. Instead of looking at the money making aspect while cho... View more

Current Student- NIT, Trichy,

CFA is a moderate level exam and you can pass it with 4-6 months of preparation.
Most important is having a proper plan and sticking to it.
Start with how many hours you have on week days. Try to study at least 1-2 hrs on week days.
You have to dedicate your weekends completely to the preparation and avoid the temptation of relaxing on those days. I would suggest minimum 6-8 hrs on weekends at least. Actually the time required will vary from person to person depending n his intellectual capability.
Make sure you use trusted resources and focus on solving more problems and not only reading the theory.

Dear Akshay,
Yes, you can go for B.com Hons but cut-off for admission to this programme varies according to different colleges. Choose the best institute where you will get quality education, better job prospects, and good scholarship on the basis of your qualifying exam / percentage in 10+2. Even some colleges conduct their own admission test, even provide considerable scholarship on its basis as well. I can recommend you some colleges where you should try like: - Loyola College-Chennai, Lovely professional University-Punjab, Christ University-Karnataka, etc.
One of my friend joined LPU last year and got maximum scholarship. You ... View more
