It’s better to start commerce from 11th, but if you think science stream not interesting, you may choose commerce, but need a little bit hard work to keep update yourself with basics of commerce.

Hi Pooja,
To be eligible for a B.Com course, your 10+2 subject needs to be commerce based.
So, if you have the same education qualification, you can apply for a B.Com course.

Yes, as you can see the following eligibility criteria:
A minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or any related subject in the previous qualifying examination or 55% marks in the subject or any related subject in the previous qualifying examination.

Hi Karthik,
In this world of tough competition, B.Com from well known colleges will fetch good jobs like Shri Ram College of Commerce, Hans Raj College, Loyola College (LC, Chennai), Lovely Professional University. If we talk about from normal colleges the you may not get placement. Yes you can apply for government Jobs that too need too much of hard work. In case of BBA, mostly, you can get the job more effectively as compare to B.Com.

Eligibility:
The basic eligibility for admission to any of the B.Com programs is mentioned below.
*Candidates must pass in Higher Secondary School examination from a recognized educational board
*They should have Maths and English as core subjects
*Minimum 50% marks are required at 10+2 level
*Although candidates from Science and Arts stream are also eligible to apply, those with Commerce stream are preferred
*There is no work experience required for the course.
However, students with work experience can also apply.

Absolutely he can. Ask your brother to take up an entrance examination from which he can get an admission to colleges with those examinations.

It depends on the career plan that you want to opt for. You can opt for B.Com or BBA. It is always good to do some relevant courses along with this. People who give GD-PI have a good chance for being selected in School of Law, UPES. Just try to get BBA LL.B instead of B.Com LL.B.

Candidates who have completed two year pre university course (plus two) from Karnataka state board or its equivalent from other states/board with 40% or equivalent CGPA are eligible for admission in Kristu Jayanti College for B.Com course with ACCA. The candidate should have studied Accountancy as one of the subjects.

The fee structure at Jawaharlal Nehru University for B.com is around INR 371 annually. The fees is quite reasonable and anyone can easily take admission in that university, and it requires graduation with 45% marks.

Sydenham-Mumbai accepts MAT score but cut-off and admission process for this year is not yet declared. The same is expected to be declared after CET test. Considering your marks in MAT, I would suggest you wait for the cut-off.

it totally depends on you. if you complete in one shot then you can easily complete CA in 3 years otherwise as an average it takes 5 yrs which include 3 yrs of articleship and entry level followed by intermediate and final exams

Yes, since you have applied but didn't get SRCC means you have to try giving the paper next year. Also, for getting admission in SRCC, you have to check different parameters too. Your 12th marks, your portfolio, your interview and extracurricular activity. Everything combines with CUET numbers and then place your admission to SRCC.

After completing 12th you can take admission for BBA or B.Com. If you want to do business or MBA after your graduation then go for BBA instead of B.Com and if you are going to do B.Com at the moment then there are many options for you like B.Com+MBA, B.Com+M.Com and B.Com+LLB.
