Yes, a PCM candidate can opt for event management as a career. People do management courses after B.Tech.

<p><strong>No, it's not mandatory</strong>. But, yes starting as <strong>a reporter will be advantageous to your anchoring career </strong>because reporters are the ones who investigate and understand the news well. When someone presents the news as an Anchor, it would be a little easier for the individual, because of their sound understanding regarding the news, if they come from a reporting background.</p>

Advantages (in no particular order of merit):
Being able to fly an airliner is pretty cool.
The view from the flight deck can be breath-taking.
You get to travel the world for free.
Many opportunities to sample global cuisine if you love food.
You never have to bring your work home with you, other than studying/preparing for your check-rides/sims.
You have sufficient time to yourself to pursue your hobbies/interests. There are quite a number of us who are full-time businessmen/hobbyists, part-time pilots. (said partially tongue in cheek)

Yes, its good to pursue a 3 years course for corporate job. Don't waste your time for a 5 years course. If you are interested in work to corporate, go for a 3 year LLB and you can go for side by side. Do internship in law firm correspondingly.
