As per the last round of cutoff release in 2024, the cutoff rank for CSE among the General AI category candidates was <strong>623</strong>. In 2023, the cutoff rank for CSE was closed at <strong>654</strong>. Morever, in 2022, the cutoff rank for the aforementioned category and speciallisation closed at <strong>589</strong>. While VIT does consider JEE Main scores, the cutoffs for CSE in Vellore and Chennai are generally much higher, typically requiring a percentile above 95.
