There is a distinct difference between a degree and employability. Degrees are the base, it is something you build upon throughout your career. It is not just to clear the criteria but so that you can have your fundamentals in check.So, there shouldn't be any conflict as to whether a certification can supercede or substitute a formal degree or graduation. B.Tech and BCA are totally different courses. If you are doing B.Tech then you would be able to study about the various fields of engineering and its application. BCA is just a course based on the applications of computer. However, data structures and keep concepts of oops will be taught in both BCA as well as B.Tech (CSE/IT).
