In B.Com you will be taught about commerce as a whole. On the other hand BBA is a business management course. Prospects of B.Com are much more as you can go for banking as you have the required knowledge and MBA is also an option you have.

BBA - Bachelor of business administration
B.Com - Bachelor of Commerce
Both these are undergraduate courses of 3 years duration in India.
BBA is a course in the field of business management while B.Com is in the field of commerce.
BBA basically deals with the management skills like selling, marketing, production etc. While B.Com deals with statistics and economical skills like accounting, law, marketing, finance, etc.

Sir, B.Com is good option and side by side he may go for Chartered Accountancy or Chartered Secretaryship. BBA and law is also option. Rest lies on the interest of the child.

Both courses introduce you and teach you in detail the subjects that make up the commerce stream. However, the major difference lies in the fact that B.Com (Hons) demands a higher level of understanding of Maths, thereby making it slightly more difficult than the normal B.Com. Another difference is that, being a B.Com (Hons) student, one can specialize in a certain subject in B.Com (H), which is not possible in B.Com (P). In the latter, a student is given an overview of all the subjects taught in the honors course.

Don't get discouraged if you don't relate with the information. But it is the truth.
It matters that you must have completed your 11th and 12th in science field. Physics is a must subject. Your current degree does't matter. Your 12th boards result must be above 55% specifically in physics (above 55 out of 100) and in maths (above 55 out of 100).

Usually, colleges decide their candidate based on merit. So whether you will be admitted or not depend on who else has applied. But with 80%, you should get marketing Hons at some college. Look for the best while keeping an eye on competition. All the best.

Hi Submit, Every college has different criteria for admission. Generally, the minimum eligibility criterion required for M.Com course is having a Bachelors in Commerce with a minimum of 50% marks. The admission is generally done through a common entrance test conducted by various universities accordingly. Certain universities also offer merit-based direct admission.

You can surely take admission for BA English. The only condition is you should have cleared 12th. It does not make any difference whether you are from commerce or arts background.
