Lovely Professional University,

As per the Honorable Supreme Court judgment, AICTE approval is a must for the Technical Institutions but, UGC Universities are exempted from this approval. So if students want to join any UGC Approved University for any technical course, and it is not AICTE approved then there is nothing to worry about. LPU is the best University to join as it focuses on the overall growth of the students. Being an alumnus of LPU I would prefer LPU as it has helped me grow professionally and provides exposure to various opportunities in terms of internships, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, placements etc. As per my knowledge, Lovely Professio... Hello Deepika, Having a low CGPA is okay, dig deep to understand and then communicate the specific reasons why your CGPA is less than ideal. The best answer would include working while going to college, if that applies to your personal situation. Another lesser approach is that you pulled up your CGPA after a slow start the first year or two. You did your best but some reasons you failed to reach that one step. If an interviewer asks you about your low CGPA just answer honestly because to hide one lie a thousand lies are needed. So be straightforward and honest about your career. MBA is good option but based on your own career aspirations you need to select a suitable MBA specialization e.g. systems, operations, marketing etc. Alternatively you could go for a quality management course (six sigma/ CMM/ ISO-9000, etc.
If you are technology oriented this could be a great course option as you can leverage your tech background better and also help you rise in the management cadre as quality testing and business process re-engineering /innovation/transformation roles (that you can get into post the quality certificate course) are always in high demand in IT /ITES/ BPO sector.
