While selecting a college, I think, you should focus on placements. Yes, VIT campus is small and area is also not that good, but VIT-Pune computer engineering has got very high placements with a good package. Decision is all yours.

Without a mechanical engineering degree you cannot pursue automobile engineering. More so you have a work experience in S/w engineering making your profile unsuitable for further studies related to mechanical sciences. But check for MS in Computer-aided Analysis and Design. RWTH Aachen the leading university in Germany offers a Master’s program in Computer Aided Conception and Production in Mechanical Engineering program but they also prefer students with related degrees. Please check with them directly. Check similar programs in India as well.

In my thinking you can do MS in C/S or IT after MCA because for MS in foreign university requires 70% in graduation in 10 +2+4 system i.e. 16 years of study in total. As after BCA there is one year shortage - for pursuing MS you need to complete MCA.

At BITS Pilani, you have provision to choose electives means that if you have got chemical or civil but you wanted mechanical then you can choose mechanical engineering as one of the electives. Similarly, you can choose 3-5 electives in engineering branches.
But in VIT, Vellore, there is no such provision. So, if you are interest in CSE alone, then go for VIT, Vellore CSE.

Yes, after B.Sc, you can do M.Sc. In computer Science or MCA if you want to go in teaching line then go for M.Sc. Or, you are having interest in developing software then go for MCA.

Both courses are similar but if you pursuing BCA+MCA then it will be equal to B.Tech computer science engineering, but according to my suggestion, you should choose B.Tech in CSE as it will save one year of yours.
