Sr. Section Engr(Design),

You should first earn a degree in computer Science or a related field. You should have at least a Bachelors degree to begin your career as a software engineer. Majoring in computer Science will offer you the most useful background for designing software. Interviewers will ask questions regarding data structures and algorithms. Therefore, the theoretical knowledge provided by traditional computer Science degrees best prepares you for this. Further you needs to learn a language from the following like Python, javascript, C#, C+, Ruby and Java.

If you are interested in engineering, then it should be a reputed college. Then only it is worth.

You should go for MCA. Most of the institutes require 45 to 50 % aggregate in qualifying exam for taking admission. Reserved categories get some relaxation in aggregate percentage. Apart from this there is another prerequisite for taking admission in MCA degree; one must have studied Mathematics in 10+2 as a compulsory subject. Direct admissions are done on the basis of merit in qualifying exam. After taking entrance test qualified students are called for counselling. Counselling is conducted for seat allotment in various colleges under that university. Admission is done after allotment of seat in counselling.
