B.Sc CS is a more academic course and focuses mainly on mathematical and theoretical foundations of computing and help students to become Systems Developers and Testers. B.Sc CS degrees can only help you to get entry level jobs in Small and Mid size IT companies and you will require to do PG degrees such as MCA and M.Sc IT/CS for a meaningful career.

I appreciate your interest in pursuing course in IT field. As you are from commerce background, you are not eligible to pursue B.Sc or Engineering courses in IT field. However, if you had Mathematics as a subject in your 12th standard, you can opt for BCA followed by MCA. Both the courses have a duration of 3 years each.
