There are some colleges offering part time courses but these are very few and require attendance. If you are working then your best chance is to do AMIE which is equivalent to an engineering degree.

To become Software Engineer you may do BTech in Computer Science or IT of Software engineering. Most of Engineering colleges admit students based on their entrance examination. JEE is common admission test for IITs, NITs and other autonomous colleges. You are advised to appear for JJE Mains and other engineering entrance examinations.

Since you are pretty much interested in computers, you may go for B.Tech in computer science from any top reputed colleges. You can also go for BCA, but in terms of exposure and great packages, B.Tech is better than BCA.

If you pursue software courses from NIIT and you don't have a degree like B.Tech or MCA, then you will have to struggling more and more in IT sector. But, if you join Cisco CCIE course from a good institute like Networks Era and earn CCIE certification then you will get good salary package in MNC's.
CCIE is world top IT certification and most demanding course in IT sector. If you complete and crack CCIE certification exam, you will get a nice job in India as well as abroad and if must be graduate form any stream like BA, B.Sc, B.Com. For CCIE, doesn't matter you must have to earn professional degrees like B.Tech or MCA.

You can look for opportunities with National Institute in Smart Governance (NISG), NIC, CDAC etc. You can join as Technical officer in Armed Forces. There is no course of two years in computer application after high school if you have passed 12th then you can get admission in diploma engineering. So, you have only one opportunity that you should do a three year diploma course either in CS branch or IT branch.

While CSE equally covers both hardware and software aspects. Information technology engineering and software engineering have a lesser focus on the hardware aspect. However, this difference hardly matters as universities frequently keep updating the syllabus for each branch.

If you think, you are creative then probably graphic designing and multimedia courses can help you. DTP is not a bad idea either.

You are advised to do B.Tech CSE/ IT or BCA or B.Sc CS/IT to become a Mobile Apps Developer. You can become Mobile Apps Developer by doing short term.orograming and mobile computing but without above mentioned qualifications you may find it difficult to get a job.
