Admission in BCA in the majority of universities is based on the entrance examination. Students with maths as a subject in 10+2 are eligible to seek admission in BCA. Some universities such as IGNOU allows non-Maths students also to do BCA but they have to clear additional paper on maths fundamental. Getting a good job depends on your skills and profile. Yes, college matters for the sake of learning and placement, but a good student will get a good job even if he or she studied in a small college. Also, if you are planning to do BCA then checkout other equivalent courses like B.Sc, IT/CS.

Hi dear,It is not necessary, but if you want, you can give it otherwise. There are many institutions, which provide BCA courses without all these stuff, but have their own entrance test. If you are non Maths too, you can easily apply in the colleges.

The general eligibility criteria to be eligible to apply for BCA course is 10+2 from a recognised board of education or equivalent, with a minimum of 50% marks in total and also having mathematics as a subject in the qualifying examination.
