For being eligible to apply for MCA, you should have mathematics as one of the subjects in class 12th or statistics as one of the subjects at graduation level. If you can fulfill this criteria, then you are eligible for MCA.

what you want to know dear friend about MCA? after BCA you have to passed and get well rank in Joint Entrance exam For MCA . after that you get admission automatically.
Well, eligibility criteria for BCA is students need to passed 10+2 with 55%, there's relaxation for other categories. So you can get admission easily.
You have the following options after BCA:
1. Do an MCA (which I recommend not to) which is a 3-years course again. The curriculum is almost as same as BCA course so you end up studying same things that you studied in BCA. Plus placement for MCA is not that great these days. So many colleges are shutting down their MCA department due to very low demand. Overall BCA+MCA options is dying in India due to less acceptance from IT companies or a very low package.
2. Get into job oriented courses like Wipro WASE program. It's a 4-year program (on the job) which Offer M.Tech in software engineering degree at the end of 4 years by BITS, Pila... View more

BCA is a 3 years long undergraduate level Bachelor’s degree program. The course structure is quite similar to the traditional B.Sc. program. The 3 years duration is divided into 6 semesters, each lasting a period of 6 months.

BCA is a job oriented degree course and you can go for a job immediately after BCA in small and medium-sized IT companies. Unfortunately, large Indian IT companies and MNCs do not prefer BCA for entry level developer and testers role and these companies may hire for a junior developer or application support jobs. If there are no personal conditions, you are advised to complete MCA before seeking a job in IT industry. MCA graduates are treated on par with B.Tech CS and B.Sc IT graduates for application development and maintenance jobs.

Hello,
BCA is a 3 year degree course in computer applications, which prepare you for junior programmer’s role. You will get a job in only medium or smaller enterprise only. This degree is not equivalent to BE CS. MCA is treated somewhat equal to BE CS. Therefore, if you have a choice, then you should opt for BE CS not BCA.

BCA is a job oriented degree and you can opt for a job after completing BCA. It will be good, if you obtain some industry recognized certifications. However, for long term career in IT industry, you can also evaluate pursuing MCA. If you are not technically oriented, then you can opt for MBA.

Yes, you can get admission in BCA at several colleges and universities without having CET score. A lot of the private colleges/ universities do not require any entrance exam including CET. Some may even conduct an in-house entrance test. You simply have to check the list of colleges offering direct admissions for their BCA programme. Even with 45% in Class 12, getting admission in BCA is possible in some colleges. Alternatively, you may apply for an open university.
