No, you can't get lateral entry in B.Com after Diploma. You can only get admission in B.Tech if you want to take admission via lateral entry.

It's seems to be a little bit difficult as your score is 50 but it requires 55% for getting admission.

The curriculum of BTech is more career oriented, which is divergent to a theory-based course. B.Com on the other hand, is a Bachelor's degree in Commerce. It is similar to B Tech because it is an undergraduate academic degree, except that its focus is more Commerce related.

In both courses, there is no placement in average colleges. So, your decision will depend upon which course you are going to do after Bachelor. If you are thinking about MBA then BBA will be beneficial, If you are planning to go with B.Ed or M.Com then go for B.Com.

If making a career in management is your priority then you should go for BBA as it is the foundation of management and has been specifically designed for MBA aspirants.
