If you will SEE today growing competition for CSE students, it is growing rapidly and within the current scenario when everyone wants to go digital, it is a hot cake and its really essential for the aspirants to choose a university that has good rankings, updated curriculum, and a great placement record. For professional courses like B.Tech, I would suggest all the students to be very specific in terms of their choices for Universities and Institutes. Just remember there is no substitute to University Recognitions, approvals and Rankings Chandigarh University for pursuing B.Tech Chandigarh University is the NAAC A plus Accredited Universit... As you have already qualified JEE Mains in your first attempt and got more than 90% in your boards. Why don’t you go for a drop instead of spending a huge amount of money in a private university? You have the potential as you have strong basics.
Dear Aspirant, Both have good placement but in the case of infrastructure and facility, LPU is better than any other University. Being an alumnus of LPU I would prefer LPU as it has helped me grow professionally and provides exposure to various opportunities in terms of internships, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, placements, etc. LPU is the best engineering college in India. LPU becomes the best place to pursue an engineering degree with highly qualified teaching staff, best laboratories, and modern technologies. LPU provides abundant opportunities for students to think out of the box. With Quality of Education, Placements i... View more
Hi Aditya, Yes, of course, it is valid in India as well as abroad. LPU is a renowned university and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India. It has other accreditation also like Association Of Indian Universities (AIU), Council Of Architecture (COA), National Council For Teacher Education (NCTE), Pharmacy Council Of India (PCI), Indian Council Of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Bar Council Of India (BCI), The Institution Of Engineers (India), Institute Of Town Planners, India (ITPI) as well as International Memberships. Thanks.
For different campus, there is different score like for getting admission in BE in CSE in Pilani Campus, you need to obtain 380+ marks in BITSAT, whereas in Hyderabad and Goa you need to score 350+.
It depends on your rank, dear. But you can get any government college of UPTU with this score. 2300 rank is not enough to get admission in IET, Lucknow. You can try for BIET, Jhansi.
Computer Science and Engineering from UPES is one of the best in the country, and far better than mechanical engineering from MIT. I know this because I am an alumnus of UPES and have been placed in one of the top MNCs with a really good package. The best part is their faculty, industrial visits and specialised programs with support from best tech giants in the world.
Dear Sahithi, you can easily clear LPUNEST exam & get good marks in it. For that, you will have to make strategy for study and you will have to study regularly. All the best.
VITEEE is much easier than JEE Mains. If you are thorough with the NCERT syllabus, you can easily get a score of around 100/125.
If we talk about VITEEE 2016:
Physics questions were very easy. Most of them were just informative questions with little or no calculations. Chemistry was much easier than previous years and the questions were blindly picked up from NCERT. Maths was a bit lengthy and tough. Many sums took much time and a few were complicated. English was extremely easy and questions were given based on a comprehension.
Time management plays a major role as you have to do 40 question each of PCM. However, if your board... View more

Amrita is better than VIT. Amrita is ranked 4th in India by NIRF and also Amrita is included in global ranking, Amrita is very strict and also syllabus is difficult compared to VIT, both vit and Amrita have 90% + placement. In my opinion Amrita will be the best choice if you are ready to put little hardwork, because placement is amazing, Amrita alumni chapter abroad is so strong and also much better than VIT, from my experience I definitely recommend Amrita, major recruiters include ( SAP labs, cisco, google, amazon, netapp, salesforce, etc. Almost 100 % placement happened last year in Amrita).

No colleges offer placement without the student's support. All campuses will invite good companies which offer good packages. They will provide placement training for that company. The student needs to dedicate his mind and work hard to achieve the same goal for getting a good job. The college has good quality faculties who are having experience in the field of teaching. They can guide you to success. How about we investigate the courses offered by both the schools as they are subsidiary to a similar school that is Visvesvaraya Technological University along these lines the syllabus and educational programs would be the same.

I have been in LPU so I can vouch on their practices that they are implementing and I have witnessed their effort for students and management working hard for placement and imparting quality teaching. Hello Vidhath,
RVCE is the top-most private engineering college in Bangalore and as CSE is a highly preferable branch there, you need to score more than 150/180 marks in ComedK to get CSE branch and as far as the tuition fee is concerned, it's around 2 lakhs per annum.
All the best.
You should join BITS, Hyderabad for mechanical. BITS is very top-ranked college in India.
First of all congratulations for the result. Your rank is quite good you can get CSE in any other NIT but your chances in Warangal is less. Don't worry try another NIT's.
Good luck.
Without any doubt, you can take admission to B.Tech programme at LPU based on your marks in 12th. As per their website the eligibility for the B.Tech CSE programme is:-
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or JEE (Main)
Note: If Candidate has 85 Percentile or above in JEE Main then LPU NEST is exempted. Further you can also avail scholarship by appearing in LPU NEST Exam whose benefits will remain throughout the standard duration of the programme.
No, government colleges like IIT, NIT and IIIT take admission directly. You have to appear JEE Mains to get admission with a very good rank.
Hi Sagar, You have got very good percentage in your board exams. If you are prepared rather well prepared to a pair in AJEE Mains then go for it in a one go in this year only. Otherwise, being an education consultant I would not suggest you to drop your year just for the sake of preparation once again. Eligibility criteria for getting admission in B.Tech at Lovely Professional University is that candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in 12th class and LPU NEST exam must be qualified. Lovely Professional University is running a very the largest scholarship scheme. Basically Scholarship can be conferred to those students who are having more... View more
Yes, a little bit problem would occur in doing B.Tech in CSE as you haven’t studied CS in 12th.
Hi, Both the universities are doing equally good but I recommend LPU because my brother did B.Tech (CSE) from LPU and he is working in an MNC now. I have visited LPU several times during his 4-year journey. I will highlight some of the features. The staff is highly qualified and most of them are Ph. This. The faculty has in-depth knowledge of the subjects they are teaching and are supportive too. The curriculum is built keeping in mind the current technology trends and is vetted by the company officials. LPU offers different specializations namely IOT, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Developm... View more

LPU is really a great platform to pursue your studies. I am an Alumni of the LPU batch 2013 and I had great experience in LPU. I was in confusion when I was seeking admission for my post graduation but after long comparisons of colleges I choose LPU because LPU gave me an extra edge in all perspectives. Great Academics, beautiful Infrastructure, Experienced Facilities and in campus placement. In LPU MBA programme comes Mittal School of Business is among the first 10 institutions in India to get ACBSP (USA) accreditation. Last year in MBA students got a package of max 16 Lacs per annum and the average packages were of 5 Lacs per annum. Kind... View more
