Alumni at LPU Jalandhar,

Dear Somil, CGC and Chitkara are also good universities but on the basis of quality education and placements, I always recommend LPU. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good from LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students... You are interested in automobile so you should definitely take automobile. Many people run after CSE because of the package, but without interest you won't be able to perform good and you won't get a good package in that scenario. So its better you do what you are interested in and do wonder in it.

College Selection Expert,

CBIT and Vasavi College of engineering are the pretty good colleges for CSE but Vasavi College of engineering is better for CSE engineering.
Pros of Vasavi College of Engineering over CBIT:
1. You will be under good as well as strict inspection by faculty in the first year. But, you won’t get much time for playtime and extra-curricular activities in the first year.
2. The college has a very good library facility with good number and of various fields.
3. The college is strictly against ragging, and that ragging scenario has almost become suppressed (99%).

Yes, you can. Cut off Marks of Thapar University is low for the last years. So, yeah there's a lot of chance of this. Rest, it depends more on the JEE Mains cut off as well. More the cut off, less are the chances. But, do apply for Thapar University. You never know where your destiny would take you to.
Best wishes.

BMS is also one of the best colleges but with a small campus. Computer Science engineering Department is also on top with good placements.
