Both the colleges are top.There is no difference in both in terms of placement as both provides good placement.
PESIT is more of practically oriented college. Attendance is very strict though and you have marks for attendance. You are made to do so many projects, you will end up doing at least 6-8 mini projects and 1 big project till you finish your degree.
You have a lot of research encouragement. So many events happen in college. Little lesser in placement standings but the energy level of college for a creative mind is very high.

For the SC / ST candidates, the minimum marks percentage in qualifying examination is 65%. However, the top 20 percentile criteria remain the same.
