Dear Charlie,
It is advisable that do not confine yourself to how much percentage. It is always good to try to score the highest rank. For that you will definitely have to burn the candle at both the ends. I mean you will have to work hard day and night. However, if you are able to score and be on top, you will not have to run behind the colleges. The opportunity itself will come to your doorstep. So instead of thinking on hoe much focus on complete 100%. This is because if you keep your aim higher, you get yourself motivated in order to pursue you aim. I hope this would suffice. All the best and God Bless You.

MCA after that would also serve no harm. You could get placed even then. MBA again is a hyped course though it has advantage but try considering MCA as well.

Hi Ajay, I wonder how some one else will know what is good for your future. It is something you must plan and sort out. A course does not come with a job guarantee, you will do well if you enjoy the course and have an aptitude for it. Figure out what you want, ask yourself if you like numbers, maths, finance, business, event management etc. Check career outcomes of various related courses and see what interests you. You have to choose after you prioritize your interest.

Hi Dharmesh!
The selection procedure varies from college to college. Most college will consider your marks in Graduation, I.e, the selection will be merit based. Some colleges have also started taking an entrance test of 200 marks. The exam will be divided into 5 units: Economics, Accounting, Business Standard and Mathematics, Business organisation and Management and General Knowledge and Current Affairs. You can refer to college's website that you are interested to take admission in and know their own criteria.

Hi Siddharth, different colleges have different eligibility. Your percentile is not too high hence getting admitted into one of the best college may not be reachable now. Also note that for a honors programme majority of the college require atleast 60% in class 12th. You are advised to check the options on the link below and also check the college websites for eligibility criteria

Hello,
According to the best of my knowledge, I would like to suggest you that both BBA and B.Com have their own merits. It depends entirely on your interest before choosing either of the courses.
If making a career in management is your priority, then you should go for BBA as it is the foundation of management and has been specifically designed for MBA aspirants.
B.Com, on the other hand, is much more diversified and has a wider scope for specialisation for post-graduate study.
Thus, it is advisable to first chalk out your skills, aptitude and area of interest before taking up any of the courses. Instead of looking at ... View more

It totally depends on the colleges, that what kind of pattern they follow. Some of the colleges follow the semester system and some yearly. But most of the colleges conduct 2 semester in a year. So, before taking admission in any of the college ask about the semester system. I hope it's clear to you.

Positivity is my Saviour,

There is no problem in choosing B.Com after completing two years of Science. Students pursue their dreams by choosing what they want to pursue. B.Com is little accounts oriented syllabus I request you to think about the accountancy part before you get admitted. Other suggested course for you to handle could be BBA, which has less of accountancy and will help you cope up with the syllabus. B.Com also is the best option just that you need to concentrate more on the accountancy part.
