You are try your best, but the chances of getting this college is quite low. So, I'll prefer you to look in other colleges also. If you get any of these colleges, then it is good to have it, but if not, then you should have a backup plan, you can opt for any other NIT like NIT Kurushetra and NIT Jalandhar, these are also good NITs.

There is no cut off marks or rank required for admissions in their B. Tech program. It will be based on the number of applicants applied to each campus. You can apply using your JEE (Mains) score or AEEE. The most preferred branch opted by a candidate will be allotted on the basis of your JEE (Mains) score.

In my opinion, Jaypee is a more reputed engineering university compared to UPTU (AKGEC is affiliated to it). The pedagogy at Jaypee would be better as the faculty is more experienced and it is one of the older colleges of NCR. The placement of CSE at JIIT is close to 100% whereas the same cannot be said about AKGEC.
In terms of intellectual capital also, JIIT supercedes AKGEC as the entrance test is AIEEE.
So, keeping the above points in mind, my advice would be to opt for Jaypee

You should be in top 5 thousand rank for getting admission in dtu and nsit if you belong from outside delhi.
