There is no qualifying mars assigned for the candidates to clear the exam. Both the institutes are good and it is very hard to compare them. Allen, Jaipur may have an upper hand over Chandigarh in terms of course structure and teaching methodology.

SAT basically comprises of high school topics (Reading, writing, maths and optional essays). Get your concepts clear, practice a lot. I can suggest you to take an external coaching , they will teach you short-cuts and time management. You will find a number of online practice tests on collegeboard.org too.
