An UG degree is essential for applying to IIMs for a management degree. If B. Com is the only UG degree you have then it will be considered essential for the admission. 1) selection of course is completely depends of Your interest in that subject.(what to become Accountant or Engineer?)
2) do B.Com along with .CA
3) do BCA and then MCA
4) earnings are more in both fields

Generally maths is included in the curriculum of B.Com course by most of the universities. You can check out the curriculum from the college website. However this maths is a kind of basic applied mathematics so not to worry for that if you are weak in your mathematics.
