Yes, this is indeed a great option. This course is extremely useful and can be equivalent to MBA in finance. Nowdays, some good companies offering good post to these students. But Fayis, be careful. Kindly do your PGDBAM from a reputed government college with good marks, not from a private college.

Unfortunately, you are not eligible to apply for M.A. in Economics. Candidates need to have a Bachelor Degree in Economics (Honours) with Mathematics as an additional subject in order to be eligible for the said course.

University of Toronto is the no.1 university in Canada. For UG courses in finance, these are the best three colleges in terms of ranking and they follow the exact order as mentioned: University of Toronto is followed by Western, a very close tie. University of Waterloo is behind them.

You may look for some diplomas in finances, accounting or taxation if that interests you or actuarial sciences is also a good option.

That would strictly depend on the kind of job you are interested in. If you are looking for a job of an Auditor, then Masters in Accounting makes more sense. If you are looking for Finance job, MBA is better.

Answer depends on the career path you choose.
If you want to pursue career as auditor / public accountant with an audit or accounting firm CPA is the right course. On the other hand if you feel you want to pursue career as a finance manager working on finance and accounting for businesses, CMA is the right course for you.
